Since 2006, the Carles Fages de Climent Library has organized monthly reading clubs, aimed at both adults and teenagers, face-to-face or online, and, since 2013, for children.
This activity serves to promote reading based on books chosen by the library itself and which are discussed among all those registered.
The day of the social gathering is used to deliver the next book to club users and a reading guide is added that summarizes the author's biography and bibliography and a brief description of the novel and related topics with this.
From time to time we invite writers and/or people linked to the chosen book in order to go deeper with the chosen reading.
The book clubs are a dynamic tool, open to the general public, which has the book as its backbone, from which a pleasant and enriching atmosphere is created, bringing together comments, opinions and different visions on the part of the attendees.
From this Library we invite you to enjoy the social gatherings and the company of people who are attracted to reading.
The Library offers you a wide range of reading clubs, among which you will find the one that best suits you by age or by interests and hobbies: adult, youth, children's, novel, poetry, theatre, opera, easy reading, etc.
