Newspapers
The Library has a space for consulting and reading newspapers and magazines on the 1st floor.
The newspapers available are (periodicity):
- Now (Daily)
- Girona newspaper (Daily)
- The Country (Daily)
- The Newspaper (Daily)
- El Punt Avui (Daily)
- Empordà (Weekly)
- Expansion (Daily)
- New Time (Weekly)
- La Vanguardia (Daily)
The Library keeps [Local press] and provincial from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Overdue newspapers are stored on floor 2 or in the warehouse. If you want to consult them, just ask the room staff on floor 2.
Magazines
The Library has a space for consulting and reading magazines on the 1st floor.
There are general information magazines and others specialized in different subjects (health, sports, literature, etc.)
Magazines can be borrowed for one month and there is no limit to the number of magazines you can take home. It should be noted, however, that you can only consult the last issue that arrived at the Library in the room.
Location in the Library:
All the current year's magazines can be found on Floor 1, except:
Language magazines located on floor 2;
Children's magazines on floor -1;
Local magazines on floor 2.
The previous year's magazines are distributed by plants according to their subject matter.
Some magazine titles are kept in storage
