The Print Reserve section includes old books, rare and of greatest heritage value, from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a collection of brochures of the 19th and 20th centuries. Over the years, the Library has gathered an important collection of 19th and 20th century press of nearly 100 titles. [Local newspaper library]
Within the group of graphic material, the Library has a collection of photographs , posters, joys, maps, scores and small prints.
Small prints
The collection of small prints is made up of documents that become very rare over time, such as exhibition catalogues, music and theater programmes, invitations to cultural events, invitations, etc.
Funds and personal libraries
Over time, the Library has received personal documentation, manuscripts and private libraries of prominent people in Empordà life, especially writers. With the desire to make this fund of fragile conservation accessible to everyone, the Library is digitizing part of this collection.
