Selection of posters from the Board of Catechism, popularly called "La Cate". The organization was inaugurated in 1921 and moved to the current building in the Ronda Pare Aroles in 1935. Throughout the forties and fifties different casts deployed a great theatrical activity there Although it has hosted numerous cultural, sports and leisure organizations, the theater has always been its main engine of existence and today it is home to the Aula de Teatre Eduard Bartolí.
The City Council has awarded it the Silver Leaf 2014, for this reason we have prepared this virtual exhibition that presents about sixty historical posters from the Library's collection between the years 1927 and 1972. It basically includes posters from cinema and theater performances (INRI, Pastorets, etc.) directed and performed by casts of actors from Figueres.
